A “sexless” marriage is one in which couples have sex less than ten times per year, and in 2003, Newsweek reported that from 15% to 20% of marriages qualify as sexless. The question could be asked, are both partners satisfied with this situation, or is one partner limiting the intimacy in the marriage for some reason? Blogger Cathy Meyer found herself in a sexless marriage on her wedding night. From then to the eventual divorce, she went through many stages, including blaming herself and trying to change whatever part of herself was causing his lack of interest.
